Babar Azam: Most runs in T20Is for Pakistan, still ignored from Asia Cup 2025 squad

Even though Babar Azam is Pakistan's highest run-scorer in the T20I format, he got ignored from the Asia Cup T20 squad.

Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan both have a great record in the T20 format. Babar has the top place in the list of most run-scorers for Pakistan in T20Is, with Rizwan following him at the second position.

Babar Azam has scored 4223 runs for Pakistan while averaging at 39.83 in the T20I format. He has struck 447 fours and 73 sixes. Babar played his last T20 series against South Africa in December last year, and has been ignored from the format from the format ever since.
