BCCI Shares: Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul sweat it out in nets at Centre of Excellence!

With the Asia Cup being underway, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a special video on their social media handle where KL Rahul, along with 2024 T20 World Cup winning captain Rohit Sharma sweating it out in the gym and in nets. This video has sparked hopes among the fans for the return of both the star players.

KL Rahul has secured himself the position of a trusted player in the red-ball setup after the England tour for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Now, when the Asia Cup 2025 ends, India will face West Indies for a two-match Test series. This series is where Rahul might be seen giving his appearance for the team. The series will begin October 2nd.

Apart from KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma might be training in order to stay fit and keep his physique in check. It is worth noting that India is also going to face Australia for an ODI and a T20I series- beginning October 19- which might be the reason for Rohit practicing from now on itself.

It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma is only going to play in the ODI matches of the Australia series, as he retired from the T20I format after guiding India to a victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Also Rohit Sharma has retired from the Test format- right before the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
