Chris Gayle to Adam Gilchrist: Oldest players to score century in IPL

These are the players who proved that age is just a number and smashed fantastic centuries in the Indian Premier League
1. Adam Gilchrist – 39 years, 184 days
The legendary Australia wicketkeeper-batter played a fantastic knock for the Kings XI Punjab in the 2011 season of IPL. Gilchrist was dismissed after scoring 106 runs from 55 deliveries against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
2. Sanath Jaysuriya – 38 years, 319 days
The legendary Sri Lanka all-rounder played a sensational knock for the Mumbai Indians against the Chennai Super Kings in the 2008 season of IPL. Jayasuriya remained unbeaten after scoring 114 runs off just 48 deliveries.
3. Chris Gayle – 38 years, 210 days
The explosive West Indies batter played a fabulous innings for the Kings XI Punjab against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 season of IPL. Gayle remained unbeaten on 104 and his innings included a boundary and 11 towering sixes.
4. Sachin Tendulkar – 37 years, 356 days
The legendary India batter played a superb innings for the Mumbai Indians against the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the 2011 season of IPL. Tendulkar played an unbeaten knock of 100 runs from just 66 deliveries, scoring 12 boundaries and 3 sixes.
5. Rohit Sharma – 36 years, 350 days
The India skipper played a spectacular innings for the Mumbai Indians against the Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 season of IPL. Rohit scored an unbeaten 105 off just 63 deliveries, scoring 11 boundaries and 5 sixes.
