England has announced its squad for the second Test at Edgbaston, with a major boost coming in the form of Jofra Archer’s return.

Great news for England ahead of the second Test at Edgbaston, as star pacer Jofra Archer has returned to the squad. The second Test is set to begin on July 2.
Archer sustained an elbow injury
Jofra Archer has been dealing with a elbow injury in his bowling arm for the past several years. He last played a Test match four years ago against India in Ahmedabad.
England Cricket Board statement
"The 30-year-old right-arm quick returns to the England Test set-up for the first time since February 2021 and will be looking to add to his 13 Test caps at Edgbaston next week," the ECB said in a statement.

England lead five-match series 1-0 after defeating India in the opening Test by five wickets at Leeds.
