Finally some smiles for Australia cricket!

Australia women’s cricket team has created wonders in England as the finished the Women’s Ashes as champions. They first won the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series by 2-1 and then the one-off Test. Although they lost the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series by 2-1 but the earlier performance was enough for them to sign off the series as champions. The final T20 concluded its result on Monday, which saw England thumping Australia by five wickets.

Australia’s wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy was delighted with her team’s performance and took it to her Instagram account where she posted the picture of the champions and wrote, “Feel so privileged and humbled to be a part of such an amazing team…. Thanks to @englandcricket for an awesome series. Some fantastic cricket played and some incredible crowds to play in front of…. See you again in the World Cup!”

It was celebration time for the Australian team as all their hard work has paid off. In the above picture, the team is seen splashing champagne with the trophy; the ambiance seems to be ecstatic. Alyssa is the girlfriend of Australian speedster Mitchell Starc and also happens to be the niece of Australia’s legendary wicketkeeper Ian Healy. Australia women’s team has gained a solid momentum and will eye to continue the good run in future.
