Following ODI captaincy snub, Rohit Sharma comes up with a Special training plan for Australia tour: Report

India is going to tour Australia for a three-match ODI series- beginning October 19. Rohit Sharma is a part of the squad, and will be seen along with Virat Kohli for the first time since the Champions Trophy earlier this year. For this tour, Rohit was seen engaged in intense training in Navi Mumbai.

According to a report in RevSportz, Rohit Sharma took part in a three-hout training session on Tuesday.
“Around eight to 10 bowlers were present to bowl at the nets. Rohit himself arranged for them through the coaches from different clubs in the Mumbai maidans. Mumbai Indians physio Amit Dube, too, was there, monitoring the entire training session,” the report said.

Speaking about Rohit Sharma, he retired from T20I format after leading India to a victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. He then announced his time from the Test format right before the team for the England tour was to be selected earlier this year for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
