Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan parted ways with the Lucknow Super Giants

Former Indian pacer and legend Zaheer Khan parted ways with his old team Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He also brings his vast years of experience to the team setup. However, he was appointed as a replacement for Gautam Gambhir.

According to the reports, the LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka is currently in the UK for The Hundred. LSG will appoint a Director of Cricket who will manage the year-round growth of their other teams, Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 league and Manchester Originals in The Hundred. This is part of a bigger plan to restructure RPSG’s cricket operations.

Zaheer played a crucial role in the team of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), as handling the responsibility of the team’s mentor and bowling coach, replacing the former South African pacer Morne Morkel.

Former Indian bowling coach, Bharat Arun, was appointed as the new bowling coach with additional responsibilities for developing quicks for Durban’s Super Giants and, from the next year, the Manchester Originals.

After parting ways with LSG, Zaheer met Indian ODI skipper Rohit Sharma and posted a photo with him on social media. Legend player Yuvraj Singh was also there in the photo. He mentioned the image “Buggi night with Shana log.”
