1. Saeed Anwar married his cousin

The left-handed batter was one of Pakistan’s most reliable players. Anwar featured in a total of 55 Tests and 247 ODIs for the Men in Green, scoring 4052 and 8824 runs in the formats respectively.

2. Anwar’s career

The former Pakistan cricketer tied the knot with his cousin Lubna Anwar, who is a professional doctor. The duo got married in 1996 and were soon blessed with a daughter, who they named Bismah.

3. Saeed got married to his cousin sister Lubna

Saeed and Lubna’s daughter, Bismah passed away in the year 2001, just 5 years after their marriage. She was suffering from a long-term illness and ended up succumbing to it at the age of just 3 years, leaving the whole family shattered.
