These are the players who failed to contribute anything to their respective side's total and got dismissed for ducks on many occasions in the Indian Premier League
1. Glenn Maxwell – 19 ducks
The former India wicketkeeper-batter played for many different IPL franchises in the IPL. Karthik has recorded a massive number of ducks in the league which saw him fail to perform well on several occasions when his side needed him the most.
2. Dinesh Karthik – 18 ducks
The Mumbai Indians batter has recorded a big number of ducks in the 258 matches he has played so far in the league. Rohit was also not able to put any runs on the board in the Mumbai-based franchise’s IPL 2025 opener against the Chennai Super Kings.
3. Rohit Sharma – 18 ducks
The former India all-rounder wasn’t among the best of players with the bat and thus, ended up recording a massive number of ducks in the IPL. Chawla played for many different franchises in the league, however wasn’t able to perform well with the bat anywhere.
4. Piyush Chawla – 16 ducks
The Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder has recorded numerous ducks in the 111 innings he has played so far in IPL. Narine has proved to be sensational with the bat on various occasions, but has also flopped completely in the department numerous times.
5. Sunil Narine – 16 ducks
The Gujarat Titans spinner hasn’t been able to contribute much for the franchise in the batting department. Opposing bowlers have been able to get the better of Rashid on most of the occasions and many times, the Afghanistan cricketer has failed to put any runs on the board.
6. Rashid Khan – 15 ducks
The veteran India batter featured for various different franchises in the IPL. Though Mandeep did play several brilliant knocks in the league, he also got dismissed for a duck on numerous occasions. The batter played a total of 98 innings in the league, failing to contribute much in many of them.
