Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have been given great news before they head to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs, as two of their star players have re-joined the camp.
Rajat Patidar got injured on his finger during their home clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The IPL was also suspended for around a week during this time because of the border tensions between India and Pakistan.
The IPL was suspended for a week because of the military conflict between India and Pakistan, and the gap was extended for RCB as the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 17 was called off without even the toss being held.
RCB head coach Andy Flower said that they are not worried about the break. The team has worked hard throughout the season and has played brilliantly so far. This break has given some players a chance to get fit. Now Patidar is fit to bat which is a good thing. Opener Phil Salt was also ill but he got a chance to get fit during the break and now he is completely fresh and ready to play.
RCB are now going to play all of their matches away from their home, and their coach has stated that the team is ready to face this challenge. Due to rain in Bengaluru, the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad is to be played in Lucknow.
