The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh stadium on Saturday. While the former currently sit on the fifth spot on the table with 8 points, the latter have recorded 3 consecutive losses and are currently placed on the eighth spot with 4 points.

Ahead of their important clash against RR, seamer Mayank Yadav has joined the LSG squad. The team confirmed his return through their social media handle. His return has significantly strengthened the Lucknow-based franchise’s bowling attack.

The India seamer is well-known for consistently bowling deliveries over the speed of 150 kmph. Mayank can cause massive problems for opposing batting orders and can rack up a big number of wickets as well.

The pacer will join the likes of Shardul Thakur and Avesh Khan at the Lucknow-based franchise and can form a formidable bowling partnership with them, causing huge problems for the opposing batters.

The India pacer’s return was first abrupted due to a back strain and was further delayed due to a toe injury as revealed by LSG coach Justin Langer.
