‘Have more matches…’: Indian star labels comebacks in a two-match series to be ‘Hard’?

As India lost the first game of the two-match Test series against South Africa, vice-captain Rishabh Pant labelled comeback series to be difficult.

Rishabh Pant is going to captain India as the team will face South Africa for the second and the series-deciding Test of the two-match series. The hosts lost the opening match at the Eden Gardens by 30 runs, and Pant will now lead the team in the second game due to Shubman Gill being ruled out.

India’s regular skipper Shubman Gill sustained a neck injury on Day 2 of the first Test in Kolkata, for which he has been ruled out from the second Test. Now, since Rishabh Pant is the vice captain, he will be seen leading the team as they step on the field to take on the Proteas in Guwahati.

Rishabh Pant will lead an Indian team which will aim to win the second Test at Guwahati- set to begin November 22nd. This will end up in a series tie and the hosts will not face a humiliation from the Proteas. Ahead of the game, Pant shared his take about comebacks in such a situation being tough.
