The runner-up will take home $2.16 million more than twice the previous amount showing the ICC’s push to better reward top-level Test cricket performances.

The Indian team finished third in the World Test Championship rankings. Team India is set to receive 1.44 million dollars, which amounts to approximately 12.31 crore rupees.
