ICC rankings: Australia top Test, ODI team; New Zealand best in T20Is

The latest ICC team rankings has been declared according to which team India has been dropped down to fourth position in the One-Day Internationals and second place in the Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) following the annual update. Results from 2012-13 have been dropped, while results from 2014-15 have been reduced to a weighting of 50 per cent. In Test cricket they still stand high at second position with Australia being at the top. India have collected 112 points whereas Australia top the charts with 118 points in their basket. In ODI cricket, Australia once again rule the charts with 124 points as they also won the World Cup in 2015 at home. New Zealand who were the runner-ups are at second position just below Australia with 113 points after which is South Africa with 122 points.India have languished at fourth position after making it to the semi-finals in the World cup with 109 points. In T20 rankings, New Zealand rule the charts with 132 points and India too share the points equal number of points but are placed at second position. West Indies who won the 2016 T20 World Cup are placed at third position with 122 points with South Africa being at fourth. Afghanistan too made it to the ninth position with 78 points.
