Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have become the third team into the Playoffs of ongoing VIVO IPL 2018. Chasing 173 versus Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), KKR marched towards the target with a combined batting effort from Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa and skipper Dinesh Karthik. SRH will remain in the top two, but can topple down if Chennai Super Kings (CSK) win their last game handsomely. Meanwhile, if they are thrashed, KKR may play Qualifier 1. For the fourth spot, there still remains few nominees.
