In Pictures: Thrilling Moments from Day 4 – India vs England 2nd Test

Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets each as England fought their way to a score of 292. India won by 106 runs and levelled the series 1-1.

Jasprit Bumrah:

Jasprit Bumrah fittingly took the last wicket and bowled India to a 106-run victory in their second Test against England in Visakhapatnam, Chasing a target of 292, England were all out for 292 with Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin taking three wickets each. (PTI)

Zak Crawley:

England came out swinging and dominated the Indian bowlers for much of the first hour and a half of the first session. Zak Crawley led the way, scoring an imperious 73 off 132 balls. (ANI)

Ravichandran Ashwin:

While Axar Patel dismissed nightwatchman Rehan Ahmed and got the first wicket of the day, it was Ravichandran Ashwin got the two big wickets of Ollie Pope and Joe Root. This left Ashwin one wicket away from reaching 500 wickets in Test cricket. But he would have to wait until the next Test to reach that mark. (ANI)

Kuldeep Yadav:

Kuldeep Yadav, though, got arguably the biggest wicket of the first session, sending back Zak Crawley minutes before Lunch. (PTI)

Jasprit Bumrah:

Jasprit Bumrah ended the session for India with a bang, taking the wicket of Jonny Bairstow with the last ball that was bowled before Lunch. (REUTERS)

Shreyas Iyer:

England came out with a markedly different approach in the second session, with Ben Stokes and Ben Foakes blocking deliveries away. However, a wicket came out of nowhere for India thanks to a brilliant direct hit from Shreyas Iyer and some lethargic running from Stokes. (PTI)

Tom Hartley:

Tom Hartley led a late resistance from England, even putting up their best partnership of the innings with Foakes. However, Mukesh Kumar and then Bumrah took the remaining wickets to seal victory for India. (Twitter)
