Virat Kohli took to social media on January 11 announcing he has become father to a baby girl.

Kohli had returned midway from the tour of Australia on paternity leave to be with his wife Anushka Sharma.

They celebrated the New year's eve together with India teammate Hardik Pandya also in attendance.

The power couple celebrated their third marriage anniversary in December 2020.

Kohli and Anushka announced their pregnancy in August last year via a post on Twitter which became the most liked tweet of 2020.

The couple often shares pictures of them holidaying and spending time together on social media.

They married on December 11, 2017 in Italy in a traditional ceremony attended only by close family members and friends.
