Following the change in ODI captaincy, Rohit Sharma was involved in intense chat with head coach Gautam Gambhir while partaking in net sessions.

Rohit Sharma last led India in their victorious Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. Before that, Rohit also was the captain when the Men in Blue won the 2024 T20 World Cup. Considering his record, it was quite a big shock that he got removed from his duties as a skipper.
