With India-Pakistan rivalry mostly being one-sided over the past decade, former PAK skipper Rashid Latif mentioned how the Men in Green lose before even the match begins.
Now, former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif has shared his views about the reason for which the Men in Green fail to get the upper side over India, labelling emotions to be the major reasons which make the team from his nation lose against the Men in Blue.
“We get emotional or hyper and try to do everything in one go. We don’t take the games deep against India and because of this, Pakistan lose most of the time. India on the other hand play according to the pitch and match situation and that’s why they succeed,” Latif said in an interview with PTI Videos.
India-Pakistan rivalry has largely been one-sided in the last 10 years, with the Men in Blue winning 12 of the 15 completed matches. Bilateral sporting ties between the two nations has been suspended for over a decade because of political and security concerns. As of now, the arch-rivals are going to face each other in group A match of Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai on September 14.
