There are many cricketers who have achieved extraordinary things and in the process entertained us with their strength and skills. Then, there are people who inspire us with their ability to overcome obstacles and tell us that life does not come to a complete halt when you are disabled.
This image, captured by Rizwan Tabassum of AFP/Getty Images, speaks for itself. This picture of the disabled Pakistani bowler Farhan Saeed (C) was taken during the International Disability Cricket Twenty20 Series 2015 between Pakistan and Afghanistan Cricket match at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday. Pakistan went on to win the opening T20 match by 37 runs.
The first-ever series between any disabled teams was played between Pakistan and England in 2012, with the ICC Academy in Dubai being the venue.
