IPL Mock Auction: Cameron Green to Prithvi Shaw, look at most expensive and key players on the list

The IPL 2026 mini-auction is scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16th. Ahead of the auction, Ravichandran Ashwin conducted a mock auction, where Cameron Green attracted the highest bid. Liam Livingstone and Venkatesh Iyer also fetched significant sums in this mock auction. Prithvi Shaw also found a buyer.

Australian star all-rounder Cameron Green attracted the highest bid in the IPL mock auction. There was a fierce bidding war between Chennai Super Kings and KKR for Green, but Chennai Super Kings ultimately secured him with a bid of 21 crore rupees.

Liam Livingstone

England’s Liam Livingstone was the second most expensive player in the IPL mock auction. Kolkata Knight Riders acquired Liam Livingstone for a bid of ₹18.50 crore.

Venkatesh Iyer, who became the third most expensive player in the IPL 2025 mock auction, also saw a shower of money. In Ravichandran Ashwin’s mock auction, Venkatesh Iyer was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹17.50 crore. He became the third most expensive player in the mock auction.

Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi, who was part of the Lucknow Super Giants last season, fetched ₹10.50 crore in the IPL mock auction. Ravi Bishnoi was acquired by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

Jason Holder

West Indies star all-rounder Jason Holder also fetched a hefty sum in the IPL mock auction. Jason Holder was acquired by the Lucknow Super Giants team for nine crore rupees.

Prithvi Shaw, who went unsold in the previous IPL season, found a buyer in a mock auction held before IPL 2026. The Kolkata Knight Riders team acquired Prithvi Shaw for four crore rupees.
