It’s pink Test time again at Sydney

Over the years, the Sydney ‘Pink Test’ has now become an iconic centrepiece of the Cricket Australia and McGrath Foundation partnership.

Traditionally Ladies’ Day, the day three of the Sydney Pink Test has been renamed Jane McGrath Day and is celebrated with the entire Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) turning into sea of pink to honour the late Jane, who was the wife of former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath. The Australian team sports a different uniform on this day and wear pink caps.

Earlier on Saturday, the Australian side posed with their ‘Baggy Pinks’ and the picture was tweeted from Cricket Australia’s account.

Australia and India face-off again in the final Test at Sydney starting Tuesday. The hosts have already sealed the series with two wins in Adelaide and Brisbane, and securing a draw in Melbourne.
