‘It’s the top order…’: Former Australian legend claims the team needs to settle their top order

Since the Ashes are soon to begin in a few months, former Australian pace legend Glenn McGrath has stated that the Aussie team lacks a solid top order.
“It’s the top order or top and middle order of England against the Australian fast bowlers and Lyon. That’s going to be a big match-up,” said McGrath.
Joe Root recently became the second-highest run-scorer in history of Test cricket- has scored 892 runs in Australia. This includes 9 fifties, but he is yet to score a ton over there.
“This series will be a big one for Root. He’s never really done that well in Australia, he’s not even got a 100 over there, so he’ll be keen to get out there. He’s in fine form,” McGrath said.
