Jake Reed takes a fall on debut!
Jake Reed made his Big Bash League (BBL) debut a memorable one as he fell down in an awkward fashion while delivering his first ball for Hobart Hurricanes.
Everything was fine until Reed reached the bowling crease. As he jumped to complete the final lap of his sprint, he had a back-leg slip, which took him cruising down on the pitch for quite some distance.
Reed was quick to get up on his feet walked back with a nervous smile on his face.
Later, George Bailey, Hobart Hurricanes’ skipper scored a quick-fire 28 to help his team chase down 208 with an over to spare. Bailey led the team to a sensational six-wicket win over Brisbane Heat on Friday.
