Kohli and Rohit FLOP during their ODI comeback: Fail to impress during their first outing in Australia

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli last donned the Indian jersey back in Champions Trophy 2025 held earlier this year, and their return to international cricket for this series was being highly-hyped. However, both the superstars failed to impress on their first outings- as they got dismissed for dismal scores.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both failed to impress during their first outings after such a long gap between their international appearances. Rohit somewhat had a decent start to his outing, but was sent back to the pavilion after a 14-ball 8, as he got caught out by Matt Renshaw off a delivery by Josh Hazlewood.

Virat Kohli on the other hand, had a disappointing outing with the bat as even though he played 8 balls, he failed to score a single run and was sent back to the dugout as he got caught out by Cooper Connolly off a delivery by Mitchell Starc.
