Kumar Sangakkara’a never ending love for the stumps

Kumar Sangakkara has although retired from international cricket but his love for cricket can never fade away. During his international cricket career, he kept wickets for most of the times and did a remarkable job behind the stumps.

He was seen in action once again for Surrey at The Oval on Monday in a Royal London One-Day Cup Semi-Final between Surrey and Nottinghamshire. Sangakkara puts a huge price on his wicket and never throws it away. One such example of his commitment was witnessed in this game.

In the above image, Sangakkara is seen crashing into the stumps while he dived to save his wicket and was at home comfortably. It’s a tough effort for someone who has retired from the game is a veteran; it speaks much about his volume and obligation with the game.

Sangakkara also slammed a tenacious century and was still batting at 133 with Surrey comfortably placed at 245 for three with five overs remaining.
