Joe Root is England’s top run-scorer in Test cricket, and is happily married to Carrie Cotterell. The relationship of the couple has gathered a lot of attention because of the achievements of the couple and their shared life.

Carrie was born in England in 1990, and has mad a decision to keep her personal life private. Before they announced their relationship to the public, she was a manager at a bar at The Arc, which is a well-known establishment in Headingley.

The couple got introduced to each other through a mutual friend at The Arc, where Joe was instantly attracted towards Carrie. Their bond strengthened as Joe’s cricket career went uphill. Carrie finally made the public announcement about their relationship in October 2014 through an Instagram post.
