Here are the coaches of the Indian Premier League of every franchise for the upcoming edition of the IPL 2026. The list includes global icons and former greats.

1. Kumar Sangakkara

Former Sri Lanka star and one of the greatest batters of all time. Kumar Sangakkara will handle the responsibility of the Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming season of the IPL 2026 after replacing ex-Indian star Rahul Dravid as head coach.

2. Stephen Fleming

Former New Zealand captain and star player Stephen Fleming will continue the responsibility of MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2026 edition as a head coach.

3. Hemang Badani

Former Indian cricketer and star batter Hemang Badani will continue his role and responsibility with the Delhi Capitals as head coach of the team. However, he was appointed for this position in the 2025 edition.

4. Daniel Vettori

Former New Zealand star and captain Daniel Vettori will continue his role in Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Hyderabad as a head coach. However, Vettori was appointed in the 2023 IPL edition.

5. Ashish Nehra

Former Indian star and one of the deadliest pacers of all time. Ashish Nehra will continue his role in Shubman Gill’s Gujrat Titans as a head coach. He was appointed for this role in 2022.

6. Abhishek Nayar

Former Indian all-rounder and the new head coach of Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders. Abhishek Nayar will handle this role for KKR. However, he was the assistant coach and now he replaced Chandrakant Pandit.

Former Sri Lanka captain and one of the greatest batters Mahela Jayawardene will handle the responsibility of Nita Ambani’s Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2026 edition.

8. Justin Langer

One of the greatest batters of all time and former Australian star Justin Langer will continue his role as the head coach of Sanjiv Goenka’s Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2026.

9. Ricky Ponting

Former Australian star and one of the greatest cricket talent of all times. Ricky Ponting will still continue his role as head coach with the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2026.

10. Andy Flower

Former Zimbabwe captain and one of the greatest players. Andy Flower will continue his role as head coach in Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2026 season.
