Michael Clarke comes back strong for Cricket Australia XI

The Australian skipper is still recovering from injury as he is all set to miss Australia’s first two games in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

Clarke who is recovering from a serious hamstring injury, played for Cricket Australia XI today and contributed well with both bat and ball. He played a solid knock of 34 off 36 balls at Brisbane as he recovers from his injury. The Australian skipper smacked six fours and scored almost run a ball while chasing Bangladesh’s score of 193. Showing the commitment to the game, he didn’t shy away from rolling his arm over and bowled two overs giving away only six runs.

Earlier today, Cricket Australia XI defeated Bangladesh XI comprehensively by seven wickets Ashton Turner portraying an all-round performance.
