Australian captain Michael Clarke pauses as he reads a statement on behalf of the Australian cricket team in response to the death of cricketer Phil Hughes to the media during a press conference at Sydney Cricket Ground on November 29, 2014 in Sydney, Australia. Hughes died on November 27, 2014 from the injuries sustained from being struck on the head while batting.

It has been a very difficult time for Australian cricket, and nothing better reflects that than the captain’s emotional state of mind in the media conference.

Australia’s first Test against India is scheduled to start on December 4, but given the state of the players’ mind, there is a huge question mark over the Test being played.
