Mohsin Naqvi hands Asia Cup 2025 trophy to UAE Board after threats from BCCI: Sources

The call for Mohsin Naqvi being removed comes from a series of alleged breaches of conduct and protocols, and the BCCI arguing that his act has massively damaged the reputation of the game. It has now been learnt that the Asia Cup 2025 trophy is now with the IAE cricket board. However, it is not yet revealed on when and how the trophy will be handed over to India.

As per source of NDTV, the major point are being raised by Mohsin Naqvi publicly disagreeing with the BCCI, which was led by officials who also recently confronted Naqvi in a virtual ACC meeting. The officials have claimed that the actions by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief have directly abused the office and showed a disregard to sporting standards.
