MS Dhoni’s bat was sold for Rs. 1.19 crore, but THIS player’s cap was sold for Much more! It was worth…

Even though MS Dhoni's bat was sold for Rs. 1.19 crore, there is a player whose cap itself was sold for much more than Dhoni's bat.

Even though former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket, his fans get filled up with excitement when he comes out to bat. The Indian national team has won a lot of tournaments under Dhoni’s captaincy, and his bat was even sold for Rs. 1.19 crore.

Though MS Dhoni’s bat was sold for such a big amount, there is a player whose cap was sold for even more. The player is Sir Donald Bradman, whose cap was sold for more than double the price of Dhoni’s bat. Sir Don wore his first Test cap in 1928, which was bought in an auction for Rs. 2.59 crore.

Apart from Sir Donald Bradman, the price of Shane Warne’s cap also surprises lot of people. Shane was one of the greatest spinner in history of cricket, and had decided to auction his green cap in 2020. He had made this decision after the devastating bushfires in Australia, which caused a lot of damage and took a lot of lives. His baggy green cap was sole for Rs. 5.79 crore at the auction.
