Former England batsman Jonathan Trott has been appointed as the head coach, whose record at the international level has been very impressive. As a coach, Jonathan Trott has led Afghanistan to the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Under his guidance, the team performed brilliantly in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. As a player, Trott scored 3,835 runs in 52 Test matches, while in 68 ODIs, he has 2,819 runs to his name at an average of 51, which includes four centuries and 22 half-centuries.

Along with Jonathan Trott, New Zealand’s great fast bowler Shane Bond will join the team as bowling coach. Bond, an experienced bowler who has taken 259 wickets in 120 international matches, has a coaching career spanning more than a decade. During this time, apart from the responsibility of the national team with New Zealand, he also took up responsibilities in IPL and UAE ILT20.

I am excited to make my bowling attack more impressive this season and make a decisive impact.” South African cricketer Andrew Puttick, who has scored more than 17,000 runs at the first-class level, has joined the team as batting coach. I am looking forward to contributing to our collective success.” Former England cricketer Jamie Trotton will take charge of fielding, while fitness professional Nick Lee, who has experience with Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, will join the team as strength and conditioning coach.
