During the 2009 edition of the IPL, Manish Pandey was the first Indian to score a century, as he played a knock of 114 off 73 balls against Deccan chargers.
Manish Pandey began his IPL career with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2009, and he soon gained recognition as a talented player.
After his time with RCB, Manish was taken in by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where he secured himself as a dependable middle order batter.
Manish was then bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 11 crore in 2018 . That was one of the biggest bids of that season. He justified his price in the matches, as he made significant contributions.
Delhi Capitals secured Manish during the 2023 season for Rs. 2.4 crore. However, his performance was below par that season, as he scored 160 runs only.
In the IPL 2025 auction, Manish Pandey was taken by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs. 75 lakh, which marked his comeback to the team where he had previously played.
