The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a strong decision to not use the Decision Review System (DRS) during their three-match T20 home series against Bangladesh. This decision has been taken due to cost issues.

A reliable source from the PCB has revealed that since there is a lack of interest in the series- beginning Wednesday- the PCB has decided to not include the service of the DRS technology. "It is not cost effective for the board or broadcasters to have DRS technology in the series," the source said.

Speaking about Bangladesh, they are missing some of their major players because of various reasons, and one of their key players being unavailable is their left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman- who injured his thumb while playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Apart from the players, it has also been revealed that members of support staff have also decided to not come to the tour because of security concerns.

It is to be noted that PCB and broadcasters also did not have the facility of DRS technology during the second phase of the Pakistan Super League (PSL)- the phase which was held after the border conflict with India.
