Photo: AB de Villiers and wife Danielle enjoy “a fun evening” at Mohali

Till the Mohali Test, the South Africa’s tour to India had been a pretty good one. They won the Twenty20 International (T20I) series 2-0 and later AB de Villiers inspired them to a 3-2 win in the One-Day International (ODI) series. It was their first ODI series win in India. However in Mohali, South African batters had a tough time negotiating the Indian spinners as they succumbed to a 108-run defeat.

De Villiers was the only man to score a half-century but it wasn’t enough for South Africa. Despite the disappointment at the playing greens at Mohali, de Villiers now seems to be having a good time at the city. He posted a picture with his wife and wrote, “Such a fun evening with good friends at this little gem of a spot in Mohali! Pleasantly surprised. @danielledevilliers looking stunning as always.”

The gorgeous young couple, who were recently blessed with a son, seem to enjoying a good Diwali time in India. De Villiers plays his next Test at Bangalore, which he considers his second home as he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Bangalore Test will mark his 100th Test and he will look to make it big. It’s a monumental milestone for the skilful batsman, who is considered to be the best in the world. Don’t be surprised if you see the India’s home-crowd at the venue cheering for this player!
