Great news has come in for Indian cricket fans as former superstar spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is going to return to action for the nation, as he is going to be a part of the Indian team for the Hong Kong sixes tournament.
R Ashwin retired from all forms of international cricket last year during India’s tour of Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, along with hanging his boots from the Indian Premier League (IPL) last month. Ashwin had said that he is going to be available to play in various leagues across the world.
“Widely regarded as one of the finest spin bowlers in modern cricket, Ashwin’s inclusion adds immense depth, experience, and star power to Team India’s campaign in this fast-paced, action-packed global tournament,” the organizers of the Hong Kong sixes said in a release.
