Rain, rain, go away – A fan’s prayers to the rain gods at Leeds

Incessant rain disrupted the start of play on day one of the second Test between England and New Zealand at Headingley in Leeds on Friday.

England fans have found their enthusiasm back after the side’s superb comeback in the first Test. This match hold great importance as it is the final Test of the tour and if England manages to draw the game they will end up as the winners as they lead the series by 1-0. New Zealand on the other hand will be desperate to seek revenge as they lost the first Test at Lord’s and will look forward to revival of fortunes and level the score between them.
