These are the Indian bowlers, who bowled fantastic spells in the ICC tournament to guide the Men in Blue to victory on most occasions
1. Ravindra Jadeja – 5/36
The veteran India spinner picked up a highly impressive 5-wicket haul against the West Indies in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. Jadeja’s brilliant spell saw the Windies get restricted to 233/9 in 50 overs.
2. Mohammed Shami – 5/53
The veteran India pacer showed that he has still got it with a terrific bowling display against Bangladesh in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Shami took a fantastic fifer to help the Men in Blue in bundling out the Tigers for 228 runs.
3. Sachin Tendulkar – 4/38
The legendary India batter also knew how to bowl well and on many occasions, worked as a surprise package who rattled the opposing batters. Tendulkar picked up an impressive 4-wicket haul against Australia in the 1998 Champions Trophy.
4. Zaheer Khan – 4/45
The former left-arm India pacer picked up a superb 4-wicket haul against Zimbabwe during a clash in the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy. Zaheer’s spell saw Zimbabwe get restricted to 274/9 and fall 14 runs behind of the 289-run target set by India.
5. Ashish Nehra – 4/55
The former left-arm pacer bowled a fabulous spell against arch-rivals Pakistan during a clash in the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy. Despite Nehra’s 4-wicket haul, the Men in Green went on to post a huge total of 302/9 in 50 overs.
6. Munaf Patel – 3/18
The former India pacer bowled a great spell against England in the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy. Munaf gave away a small number of runs in his spell of 8 overs and it helped the Men in Blue in bundling out the Three Lions for just 125 runs.
7. Praveen Kumar – 3/22
The former India pacer bowled a great spell against the West Indies in the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy. Praveen’s 3-wicket haul helped India bundle out the Windies for just 129 runs.
