Richa Ghosh set a remarkable world record during the second T20I between the India and England women's teams at the County Ground in Bristol on Tuesday. Batting first after England chose to bowl, India put up a total of 181 runs on the scoreboard.

Richa Ghosh made history by reaching the milestone of 1000 runs in Women’s T20Is. Her unbeaten 32-run knock featured six boundaries. Remarkably, she is the only player in the history of Women’s T20Is to score over 1000 runs while maintaining a strike rate above 140.

Richa Ghosh is also the second-quickest to reach 1000 T20I runs (by balls) and the quickest player to achieve the feat amoong players from full-member nations.
