‘Rohit and Virat’s experience is very important…’: Former Indian player about the best pair

After taking retirement from the T20 and Test format, there is still a concern from the fans about seeing Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the international matches while presenting their nation in the ODIs.

According to the former Indian player, Suresh Raina feels that the Indian team needs this legendary pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Raina said that this duo can also guide youngsters too.

“Rohit and Virat’s experience is very important. It’s crucial for the seniors to stay involved with the juniors. Shubman (Gill) has done really well, but he needs players like Virat and Rohit.” Raina said this on Telecom Asia Sport.

“They have won the Champions Trophy, they have won the World Cups. Virat won the last IPL also. For the astute leadership they have shown during their respective careers, they need to be part of the dressing room.’ he added.

According to the reports, both players, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, are set to make their return to international cricket as India will face off against Australia later this year in the three ODI matches.
