There are 120 players that will play for the 8 assigned teams in the 2025 edition of ICC Champions Trophy. Among those 120, there are six players that have lifted the trophy in their careers at some previous edition of the tournament.

Rohit Sharma

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was part of India's squad when they won the 2013 Champions Trophy. Rohit scored 177 runs in five innings of the tournament with two half-centuries, averaging at 35.40. That tournament turned out to be an anchor in his career following MS Dhoni's decision to promote him as an opener.

Babar Azam

After just two years of marking his international debut for the Pakistan team, Babar Azam was a part of Pakistan's Champions Trophy squad in 2017. Babar featured in all 5 matches for his team, and even had made 133 runs against India in the final.

Virat Kohli

Before his captaincy debut for India, Virat Kohli reached a massive milestone as he marked his second ICC ODI event of his career by being the part of India's 2013 Champions Trophy-winning squad. He had scored 176 runs in five matches, averaging at 58.66. At that time, Kohli was the top-scorer in the final match, as he scored 42 off 34 balls.

Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman's debut in ODI came with Pakistan's second match of the 2017 Champions Trophy, where he ended up scoring a century and two fifties. With a knock of 114 in 104 balls, Fakhar completed a spectacular century against India in the final at the Oval. In the four matches he played, Fakhar came out with 252 runs averaging at 63.

Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja was given the Player of the Match (POTM) for his performance in the final match against England , where he had a spell of 2/23 in 4 overs. He was the highest-wicket taker of the 2013 edition of Champions Trophy, securing 12 wickets to his name, with 80 runs in two innings.

Faheem Ashraf

Faheem Ashraf had appeared in just one match for Pakistan during the 2017 Champions Trophy, which was also his ODI debut. That match was the last league stage match against Sri Lanka, where he scored 15 runs and took 2 wickets.
