Rohit Sharma played a centurial inning against Australia in the final ODI of the three-match series, securing a massive record to his nae.
Rohit Sharma secured this record when he completed his half-century- where he hit Adam Zampa for a six over the extra cover. This marked the 93rd six by Rohit in SENA Countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) in the ODI format- which is the most number of maximums by a visiting batter in the 50-over format.
Along from the six-hitting record, Rohit Sharma also secured two important catches- securing his name as the sixth Indian player to secure 100 catches in ODI format.
Apart from that, Rohit has also secured his name as the second Indian batter to score 2500 runs in Australia in the ODI format. The first one was legend Sachin Tendulkar- who had scored 3077 runs during his time playing for the country.
