Schedule of IPL to be released soon, The tournament to resume from THIS day

There are 16 matches remaining in the IPL 2025, where 12 are league matches and 4 are playoffs. Reports suggest that the BCCI will announce the tournament to continue from May 15.

Matches will be held at all venues except Dharamshala
There were earlier speculations that the tournament might be completed in South Indian city. According to some information, all the venues that have hosted IPL matches so far will host as usual. However, it is expected that except for Dharamsala, all other matches will be held where they were supposed to be.

Important meeting by BCCI
After the announcement of ceasefire between India and Pakistan, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla said on Saturday that the board officials and IPL Governing Council will discuss the best possible schedule for the remainder of the T20 league.

Situation is being monitored
A few hours after the ceasefire announcement between India and Pakistan, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia stated that the IPL had been postponed for seven days (as of today 4 days remain). He also stated that the board is closely monitoring the situation, and will make a final decision after consulting the government authorities.

16 matches remaining in IPL 2025
A total of 16 matches are yet to be played in the IPL 2025. 12 matches out of the 16 are league matches, and the remaining 4 are going to be the playoff matches. The BCI hopes that they will be able to work with the Government of India and soon come out with a decision.

Tournament to resume from this day
As per a report in Times of India, the IPL 2025 is going to resume on Thursday or Friday (May 15 or 16). The BCCI has urged all the franchises to get their players ready by Tuesday, as the schedule is to be released soon.
