Tamim Iqbal celebrates after scoring a Test century

A Test century is always the most cherished and it’s even more special if it comes in the second innings. Tamim Iqbal continued his dream form and registered a tenacious hundred against Pakistan on the fourth day of the First Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Khulna.

Batting first Bangladesh managed to get 332 in which Tamim scored only 25 runs. Pakistan played very well and put on a mammoth score of 628. Bangladesh was trailing by 296 runs at the end of the first innings. They needed their openers to fire in order to save the Test. Openers Tamim and Imrul Kayes held their nerves and came out fighting, putting a massive 273 for no less at the end of fourth day’s play. Tamim and Kayes remained unbeaten for 138 and 132 respectively, at the end of fourth day. The brilliant fight back is a testimony to the fact that how Bangladesh as a side has grown in the recent times.
