‘Thank you for making my job easier…’: Indian legend Virat Kohli wrote a beautiful message for Cheteshwar Pujara

The legendary Indian test player Cheteshwar Pujara announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on his social media platform. However, the greatest of all time, Virat Kohli, praised Pujara and wished him all the best for the future.

Virat Kohli posted an Instagram story, where he wrote “Thank you for making my job easier at 4 Pujji. You’ve had an amazing career. Congratulations and wish you the best for what’s ahead. God bless.”

Cheteshwar Pujara made his International debut against Australia in Bengaluru on October 9, 2010. In his career Pujara played a total number of 103 Tests and scored 7,195 runs at an average of 43.60.

In his International career, Cheteshwar Pujara smashed 19 hundreds and 35 half-centuries, his highest score is 206 runs not out. However, Pujara also played five ODIs and registered 51 runs as his highest score.

Cheteshwar Pujara was not only a star in international cricket but also a giant in domestic cricket. He scored more than 21,300 runs in 278 first-class matches, hitting 66 centuries and 81 fifties, making him one of the most consistent and successful batters in the domestic circuit.
