‘The pressure building…’: Australian legend gives BOLD verdict on Virat Kohli after his flop-show comeback in ODIs

Virat Kohli had a flop show in the first ODI on his comeback to cricket after a gap of over 7 months. On this performance, Australian legend had some remarks of his own
Virat Kohli represented India after a gap of over 7 months, having last sported the national jersey in the Champions Trophy 2025 held earlier this year. During his time on the 1st ODI against Australia, Kohli had an underwhelming performance, as he got dismissed for an eight-ball-duck.
Speaking about Virat Kohli’s below-par performance, former Australian legend Mark Waugh noted something from Kohli’s body language which was a clear indication for him that the star batter was about to be dismissed.
“You could almost feel that coming with the pressure building on Virat Kohli. As experienced as he is, you could see him getting a little bit itchy,” Mark Waugh told Fox Cricket (via Wide World of Sports).
