1. Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt (England), 2020 - 169 runs
After both the openers were dismissed for ducks, Knight and Sciver-Brunt not only steadied England's innings but their incredible stand helped the Three Lions reach a total of 176/2 after 20 overs. Both the batters remained unbeaten with Knight playing a fantastic knock of 108 while Sciver-Brunt supported her well with her 59-run knock.
2. Lizelle Lee and Dane Van Niekerk (South Africa), 2014 - 163 runs
The South African opening pair smashed the Pakistan bowlers around the park and formed a partnership for the ages. While Lee played a steady inning of 67 off 55 deliveries, Van Niekerk showed a powerful batting display with her knock of 90 runs which included 13 boundaries and a six. Thanks to the fabulous stand, South Africa would post a total of 163/0 after 20 overs.
3. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney (Australia), 2020 - 151 runs
The opening pair would help give Australia a fantastic start against Bangladesh. Both the batters played some beautiful shots and kept the scoreboard ticking. Healy would depart in the 17th over after playing a magnificent knock of 83 while Mooney would remain unbeaten 81 as Australia posted a huge total of 189/1 after 20 overs.
4. Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur (India), 2018 - 134 runs
After being restricted to 40/3 by New Zealand, the Indian innings was looking in trouble, however Jemimah and Harmanpreet's amazing partnership turned the whole match around. Harmanpreet decimated the Kiwi bowling attack by scoring a fabulous ton while Jemimah also played a valiant knock of 59 to carry India to a massive total of 194/5 after 20 overs.
5. Lizelle Lee and Sune Luus (South Africa), 2020 - 131 runs
After losing an early wicket, Lee and Luus formed a magnificent stand and smashed the Thai bowling attack around the stadium. The former would go on to score an incredible century, hitting 16 boundaries and 3 sixes while the latter would remain unbeaten on 61 as the Proteas posted a humongous total of 195/3 after 20 overs.
