Trent Boult to Deepak Chahar: Bowlers to pick up most wickets in first over in IPL

1. Trent Boult - 30 wickets

The Mumbai Indians left-arm pacer has taken a massive number of wickets in the first over in IPL. Boult has played for several different sides in the league and has achieved this feat while featuring for almost every single one of them.

2. Bhuvneshwar Kumar - 27 wickets

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru seamer has taken a huge number of scalps in the first over in IPL. Most of these wickets came during Bhuvneshwar's time with the Sunrisers Hyderabad where he was among the side's most important players for several seasons.

3. Praveen Kumar - 15 wickets

The former India pacer played for multiple franchises in the league. Praveen was known to pick up wickets in the powerplay and many of them came in the first over itself.

4. Sandeep Sharma - 13 wickets

The Rajasthan Royals pacer is another bowler who is known to pick up wickets in the powerplay. There have been 13 occasions so far where Sandeep has picked up a wicket in the first over in IPL.

5. Deepak Chahar - 13 wickets

The Mumbai Indians pacer has picked up a massive number of wickets in the powerplay and many of them have come in the first over itself. Majority of these wickets came during Chahar's time with the Chennai Super Kings where he performed incredibly well in multiple seasons.
