In a candid interaction with Rahul Dravid, Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi revealed that he had around 500 missed calls on his number, and he kept his phone off for a couple of days.

In IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals’ young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed everyone with his explosive batting. Vaibhav scored a century in 35 balls in the match against Gujarat Titans, which is the fastest century by any Indian in the history of IPL.

Vaibhav played a half-centurial knock against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, due to which Rajasthan Royals defeated MS Dhoni-led side by six wickets. The young batsman of Rajasthan Royals has made a big revelation after the CSK clash.

After the match against Chennai Super Kings, Rahul Dravid asked Vaibhav Suryavanshi what he learned this season. Vaibhav replied to this and said that he learnt how to stay focused while playing in front of such a big crowd, play according to the team’s requirement and keep yourself in your strong zone and perform well for the team.


When Rahul Dravid asked him how many people called or messaged him after he scored a century against Gujarat Titans, Suryavanshi replied that he had 500 missed calls on his phone after scoring that century, but he had switched off his phone. He kept his phone switched off for 2-4 days, he did not want so many people around him, he wanted only his family members and some of his friends to be around him.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a total of seven matches in IPL 2025. In seven matches, he scored 252 runs at a strike rate of 206.55, which includes a century and a half-century.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi also became the fastest Indian player to score a century in IPL by scoring a century in 35 balls in the match against Gujarat Titans. He broke the record of Yusuf Pathan, who had scored a century in IPL in 37 balls.
